Pickleball Corner Singapore recently hosted an Advanced Training Session with Dominik Kuhn, bringing together 16 motivated players for an intense and rewarding on-court experience.
As a PPR Level 2 Coach and Founder of Pickleball Corner, Dominik led the session with a clear focus on improving both technical skills and tactical understanding. The group worked through a variety of structured drills designed to sharpen consistency, decision-making, and shot execution under pressure.
Focused Drills and Real Game Situations
The session combined high-repetition drills with realistic match scenarios. Players trained key areas such as:
- Controlled dinks and resets
- Transition play from baseline to kitchen
- Speed-ups and countering under pressure
By recreating real game situations, participants were able to immediately apply what they learned, helping them better understand positioning, timing, and shot selection.
Fun, Competitive, and High Energy
Beyond the technical training, the session also included fun and competitive games that kept the energy high throughout. Rotating partners and dynamic formats ensured that players stayed engaged while challenging themselves against different playing styles.
The combination of structured coaching and game-based learning created a balanced environment where players could improve while still enjoying the social side of pickleball.
A Great Session On and Off the Court
With 16 participants, the group size allowed for a strong mix of intensity and personal feedback. Players had the opportunity to learn, compete, and connect — making it not just a training session, but a great overall experience.
At Pickleball Corner Singapore, sessions like these are all about building skills, confidence, and community. And this advanced training was a perfect example of all three coming together.
